2025 PG Class of 2028 All-American Games
Mitchell Wade is a 2028 3B/RHP/IF with a 6-0 192 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Home school. Physical young athletic build with good present strength. Primary third baseman on defense, works low to the ground, solid actions to his left, range and lower half actions stood out, plenty of arm strength and carry with a quick transfer. Left handed hitter, sets up in a balanced and upright stance with a small leg raise and stride into contact, turns hard, has some lift in his swing and gets into his lower half well, middle of the field approach, barrel can be late getting into the zone at times. Took a turn on the mound. Works from a full hand over head wind up from a rock back start, over the top arm slot, lots of energy going down the mound into release. Fastball was mostly in the mid-80's and topped out at 89 mph, still developing his secondary pitches and fastball command. Reliever profile at present. Good student. Named to the PG Class of 2028 All-American Games Top Prospect List.
