Jobe Congdon is a 2023 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Endicott, NY who attends Maine-Endwell. Tall projectable build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, starts his swing with a lift and replace load, hands start low, has a direct and level swing, gets good lower half rotation, pulls the ball with consistent line drive contact, projects well as a hitter. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman but graded out better in the outfield at this event, works through the ball aggressively in the outfield and gets on top of his throws well with good carry to his throws. Also pitched, throws from an over the top arm slot with lots of downhill angle, has some energy at release that impacts his consistency. Upper 70's fastball showed good ride at the top of the zone, didn't show a secondary pitch. Good student.
