Josh Hanson is a 2024 OF/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from San Francisco, CA who attends IMG Academy. Features a lean, medium build with athleticism present. Good runner. Ran a 6.65 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Shows fluidity during the approach and through the catchpoint. Displays a clean arm action and release. Reached 89 mph during workouts. Flashed the ability to make highlight-reel plays during in-game action. Showed the ability to make the routine play on the infield. Uses patient footwork into the catchpoint with developing glove actions. Will throw uphill at times using a higher slot. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a simple, efficient timing mechanism. Swings on a linear path with the ability to lift at times. Has quickness to the hands present with more impact coming as strength continues to be added. Very good student. Verbal commit to Southern California.
