John Macall is a 2024 SS/ with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Liberty Lake, WA who attends West Valley. He has a good frame with room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.81 seconds. Primary short stop that has good footwork and smooth actions to both sides of his body. He showed soft hands and clean transfers. His arm strength will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Right-handed hitter that starts with a wider base with his knees bent. He uses a simple stride for timing and shifts his weight through well. He has nice hand quickness and stays direct to the ball. He has a compact swing and is able to create lift to the opposite field. He has solid fundamentals at the plate and more power will come as he develops and gets stronger. Very good student.
