Micah Yanos is a 2025 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from University Place, WA who attends Curtis. Physical strength showing with the projection for that strength to continue to grow into the still young frame. 7.29 60-yd. Flashed growing two-way skills during the event. At first base the glove was sure fielding the ball out front and funneling to the middle. Throws were consistent and showed run to the bag from a high slot able to make the throws needed for the position. Offensively the left-handed swing starting in an even base with a small hand load allows him to have the batspeed show up consistently to create hard contact our front. During games showed the same batspeed and was able to put together solid at-bats. As a pitcher works from the stretch with a simple lift of the foot and hands at the same time. Holds his direction down the hill with a compact swing to a high slot getting over the short front stride. Fastball stuck to the armside and the curveball was there as well with small overhand depth. There's good fundamentals that can be built upon as he matures/grows.
