Brady Patten is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-3 225 lb. frame from Verona, WI who attends Verona Area. Large, high waisted frame with present strength throughout frame and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.19 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, starts on the middle of rubber, small side step into delivery with a knee to chest leg kick; gets tall on backside, can utilize additional lower half to drive down mound, short arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Low effort delivery, fastball topped out at 82 mph and shows nice life through the zone, comes out of hand easily, tends to miss up in the zone. Firm changeup at 74 mph with some depth through the zone and fading action. Maintains arm speed on curveball nicely, hard break with late bite. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Subtle leg lift trigger for timing in the box, turns on the ball well and shows quickness in hands, best contact to the pull side. Gets inconsistent with timing on occasion but shows strength off of the barrel when in sync, will continue to unlock additional pop with further lower half incorporated. Very good student.
