Hunter Baugh is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Glen Carbon, IL who attends Edwardsville. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and plenty of room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.85 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows sound fundamentals and hand actions play well at the ball, clean throughout, quickness to arm and release with solid accuracy across the diamond. Also pitched, medium length to arm action through the back, stays online and remains loose and clean, mechanically sound and worked the zone showing the ability to mix and miss bats. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and mixed a sharp breaker with 11-5 shape up to 69 mph as well as a changeup at 69 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread and open stance and utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing. Long stride moving into contact and can get mistimed, clean swing path through the zone once underway and works on a linear plane. Has present bat speed and projects with added strength, employs an all fields approach. Named to National Indoor Top Prospect List.
