JT Taylor is a 2028 C/1B/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Dover, MA who attends Dexter Southfield. Broad shouldered build with good present strength for his age. 4.99 runner in the forty. Primary catcher on defense with the athleticism and tools to play all over the field. Sets up side saddle behind the plate, good in-line footwork into his throws, will stand too early at times, quick transfer and release with very good arm strength for a freshman. Worked out in the outfield and infield and profiles best as a secondary third baseman moving forward with the arm strength to play the outfield as well. Right handed hitter, starts from a spread stance with a short path to the ball and good extension through contact, has fast hands and turns on the ball hard with bat speed, consistent timing and swing execution, hard line drive contact. Excellent student. Named to the PG New England Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
