Blake Bourne is a 2027 2B/3B/OF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Glenelg, MD who attends Glenelg. Smaller young compact build, has some strength for his age and size. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight bent knee stance, comfortable hand load, good stride into contact, has fast hands and gets them into the zone on time, has some whip in the zone and can turn the barrel when he wants to, very good extension and launch angle, promising young hitter to follow. Primary second baseman on defense, has a quick first step and moves well to the ball, still working on glove position and fielding the ball out front, compact arm action, balanced and smooth charging the ball. Solid all-around talent. Good student.
