Elijah Breedlove is a 2025 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 220 lb. frame from Browns Summit, NC who attends Northern Guilford. Medium frame with a burly, strong and durable build that works for the primary position catcher. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.52 seconds. A bit of a higher initial setup but stays square to the pitch. Glove works well and leads him to a clean midline transfer before throws. Compact actions, foot work could gain a bit more ground and would help with feeds to seconds. Appropriately short arm path with throws up to 69 mph and pop time best 2.18 seconds. RHH working with a wide and slightly open stance and small hanging leg lift to get himself moving. Good handset and showed solid hand speed to impact. Ball jumped off barrel when on plane and in the middle of the field. Tremendous student as well.
