Ashkon Rafahi-Shirpak is a 2024 C/1B with a 6-4 207 lb. frame from Beaverton, OR who attends Southridge. He ran a 8.72 second sixty. A primary catcher with a larger build showing more room to fill out moving forward. Behind the plate he sits in a wider stance gaining ground into his throws with young actions as he gets to a taller throwing position with developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with high hands using a toe tap trigger, the bat path gets long at times with lift to the pull side when the bat head gets out front with flashes of strength when on time. Very good student.
