Nathan McDaniel is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Henderson, NC who attends Kerr-Vance Academy. Recorded an 8.35-second 60-yard dash time. Young, athletic build with tons of strength remaining to be added throughout frame. Primary left-handed pitcher, worked with a methodical, full windup. Higher 3/4 arm slot, spraying his fastball in all four quadrants of the zone. Up to 65 mph with more left in the tank as he adds strength and incorporates his lower half more. Secondary first baseman, fields out in front with some clean glove actions. Developing feel for actions around the bag. Shorter arm action, up to 62 mph on his throw, accurate to the bags. Left-handed hitter, even, balanced stance with a low-hand set. Developing feel for the barrel with a stroke that tended to get long at times. Worked through the middle of the field with impact potential to the gaps.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
