AJ Barnes is a 2023 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Large frame with some present strength to the build. Ran a 7.62 second 60-yard dash. Worked out in the infield, shows good range and athleticism around the dirt, has some hesitation to receiving but funnels it cleanly and slings it across with arm strength into the low-70s. Righthanded hitter, swings hard with some length through the zone, shows good impact strength and is able to use the whole field with comfort. Good pieces to build on with quickness in the hands and some strength. Good student.
