Daniel Hyatt is a 2007 C/MIF/OF from Loomis Chaffee HS in Wallingford, Connecticut, with an athletic 5'8"/145 pound frame. Hyatt has quick hands and feet as a catcher. He has an accurate arm at 68 mph with a quick release on his 2.08 pop time. Daniel has a quick turn on the double play from second base and showed good actions and reactions in the infield. At the plate, he is an aggressive right handed hitter with a back foot lean stance. He has a rotational swing and is a consistent contact hitter. Hyatt is a very good student.
