Jackson McDonald is a 2028 1B/OF with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from Lenexa, KS who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. Extra big and strong build, especially in his lower half. Right handed hitter, starts from an even base with a deep hand load, dips his back shoulder early to create lift, backside hitter who is looking to lift the ball, middle of the field contact with plenty of jump off the barrel, singular swing that fits his strength well. Primary first baseman on defense, still working on his glove technique and fundamentals, step by step actions to the ball, makes soft accurate throws.
