Lucas Flinn is a 2023 3B/1B/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Laguna Niguel, CA who attends Dana Hills. Medium frame with some width and some strength on the frame. 7.47 60-yd. Showed decent footwork with quick feet playing on the move and skills to play a corner infield spot. Easy actions from a loose mid-slot and able to keep throws on the bag; showed better arm strength on the mound. Offensively works with high hands, high back elbow staying on the backside, and looking to get the hands through the baseball. Middle-focused with some pull strength when wanting to carry the ball from the compact and level swing. As a pitcher, worked with a tempo delivery having the hands lift as the front leg tucks at the top before a long stride length allowed the backside to fire. Loose wrist worked out of a high-3/4 release with the high back elbow. Stuck with the fastball (up to 81 MPH) to both sides of the plate.
