Connor Branham is a 2027 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Bristol, VA who attends John Battle. Medium young build. Primary pitcher, works from a closed stretch position with rotational mechanics, over rotates and lands well open with his lead leg, throws from a mid to low 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics very well. Fastball worked in the low to mid 60's with consistent sink and running action, also did a very nice job of landing a soft sweeping curveball for strikes. Showed an outstanding ability to throw strikes and challenge hitters, only threw 26 pitches in three innings. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a big leg raise trigger, busy swing approach that can leave off time and balance, works the ball to all fields. 9.04 runner who plays first base on defense. Good student.
