2006 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Ryan Bendale is a 2010 C/OF that attends Blessed Sacrament HS and resides in Powhaten, VA with a 5'7", 150 lb. frame. Ryan has a medium build and was one of the youngest players at the event. At the plate Ryan showed some pop and line-drive contact. He has a lot of bat wrap and a long swing, both of which need to be corrected if he wants to improve. In the field Ryan projects the best at second base. He shows solid IF actions but is limited in his arm strength. Ryan is also a servicable catcher that has an accurate arm. Ryan is a kid that might attract some attention from some smaller colleges.
