Felix Gomez is a 2027 SS/2B with a 5-2 94 lb. frame from Hallandale Beach, FL. Young and lean frame with narrow shoulders, has room to fill throughout and develop physically moving forward. Ran an 8.16 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, gets low at the ball and fields it out front, shows some bounce to actions, extra steps working through the ball into release, will continue to refine overall actions with added strength. Left-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Longer swing path through the zone, gets spread through lower half moving into contact, contact oriented approach and gets the barrel out front, works on a linear plane and shows comfort working to the middle of the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
