2026 PG Sophomore National Showcase (2029 Grads)
Cole Christian is a 2029 C/RHP/UT with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends South Mecklenburg. Tall and athletic build with some present strength and plenty more to come. 6.80 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up right knee down, has a compact release from a mid-line transfer, arm strength is his best present defensive tool, outstanding carry for his age, can continue to work on his lower half agility and actions. Also worked out in the infield and outfield. Took a turn on the mound, works from a side step delivery and a compact high 3/4's arm slot that hides the ball well. Fastball was mostly in the low 80's and topped out at 87 mph early from the wind up, has good life both up and down in the zone, velocity projects with his build and arm speed. Also threw a mid-70's breaking ball that had some downer shape. Good student.
