2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (28-29 Grads)
Kase Nickerson is a 2028 3B/RHP/UT with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Branford, FL who attends Suwannee. Medium thicker build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and slightly open stance with a short stride into contact, uphill swing path with a pull side approach, turns his hips hard and creates bat speed, tends to over swing at times and lose his timing/mechanics, projectable hitting tools with his strength. 8.00 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, gets to his spots well and has soft hands fielding the ball, made accurate throws and was comfortable changing his arm slot, pretty polished actions for his age. Also worked out in the outfield but is much better suited for the dirt on defense. Also pitched and showed some ability on the mound. Works from a full wind up from the first base side of the rubber, has a compact arm action with a low 3/4's arm slot, good direction down the mound and repeats his mechanics and release well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with nice run and sink down in the zone. Curveball was a nice pitch with 2500+ rpm spin and late sharp biting action. Dominant outing on the mound. Good student. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
