Zayaan Dhanani is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Grady. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength, additional room to grow and develop moving forward. Primary third baseman, takes short steps moving towards the ball, fields the ball out front with some bend at waist, young actions and footwork, medium length arm action through the back, worked around the bag with throws, can incorporate additional lower half into release. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow pulled back at start; rotational and hands swing, can incorporate additional weight shift moving into contact. Contact oriented approach and put the ball in play, gets uphill at times with path, best when working on a linear plane to the point of contact. Very good student.
