Tony Landers is a 2024 3B/RHP with a 5-11 215 lb. frame from Oxford, AL who attends Sylacauga. Big build with lots of strength potential. 7.82 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, step by step actions, plays under control, gets his glove out front and fields the ball cleanly, has a compact arm action and a quick release on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a tight hand load, late rushed leg raise load leaves him consistently late starting his swing, has a short inside swing path with opposite to mid field contact, should have the strength to open up his swing and hit through the ball with adjustments. Also pitched, quick leg tuck to start his delivery with drop and drive lower half mechanics down the mound, has a high 3/4's arm slot that creates some angle to his pitches. Fastball worked in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph, also threw a soft curveball and a developing change up, threw strikes with all his pitches.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
