Evan Brindisi is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Oxford, MA who attends Oxford. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a projectable frame with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, gets low working behind the ball and fields it out front, short and quick arm action with a tight release, shows carry across the diamond on throws, occasionally gets mistimed with footwork. Also pitched, high leg lift at start of delivery working to a high three-quarters release point with a long arm action through the back. Works downhill well, effort at release, topped out at 82 mph with some life to arm side, mixed a breaking ball up to 72 mph with some sharp life. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow pulled back at start; utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Stays short to the ball and keeps hands inside with a full finish through point of contact. Gets mistimed occasionally, looks to lift at point of contact, projects with additional extension out front. Excellent student.
