Michael Eliel Rodriguez Colon is a 2022 C/ with a 6-0 240 lb. frame from Coamo, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Recorded an 8.17 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with a lot of physicality present throughout. Primary catcher with solid arm strength and a longer arm stroke in the back. Works through his momentum well and has catch and throw skill just needs to replicate and shorten the arm stroke on a more consistent basis. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a balanced start. Simple load and stride with a strong core and uses it well. Generates good barrel lag and the ball comes off hard when squared. Shorter path with strength at the point of contact. Great student.
