Jake Vondra is a 2024 3B/RHP, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Chico, CA who attends Pleasant Valley. Taller height with slender hips and a high waist, the body projects. Ran a 7.85 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, smooth actions and soft hands and worked out front with every thing. Accurate arm to the bag with on line foot work. Also worked out in the outfield, good glove placement out front and squares the ball up to read hops. A right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and deeper hand set using a toe tap to time his process. Simple load and controls the lower half, all fields approach with linear movements. A secondary pitcher, pretty fluid delivery with a loose arm stroke and high 3/4 release. Mixed the FB and CB throughout, young look and will develop. Excellent student.
