Ben Fabbian is a 2023 MIF with a 6-1 176 lb. frame from Ojai, CA who attends Villanova Preparatory. Long and lean frame with good physical projection. Ran a 7.56 second 60-yard dash. Primary middle-infielder, works light on his feet to the ball and gets in a good position to field it out front, gathers away from his body and throws from a lower slot with good quickness to his release and developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide with high hands and a high back elbow; uses a big stride into his swing, shows good looseness in the wrists and is able to adjust the barrel to get on plane. Has good bat speed that projects and will improve on a present contact-approach as he drives the ball on a line more consistently and adds impact more strength with maturity. Very good student.
