Alex Trujillo Jr. is a 2024 OF/RHP, MIF, UT with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Winter Haven, FL who attends Lake Region. Recorded a 7.16 second sixty yard dash time. Smaller frame and slender build with room to fill. Primary outfielder with an aggressive approach, comes and gets the ball and throws at max effort. Showed a clean glove and sound transfers, throws were mostly uphill, can improve carry and accuracy by keeping them low. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a staggered start and full wind up, comes from a three-quarters slot. Had very efficient innings, pitched to contact and got outs. Mixes locations and fills up the zone, flashed a sharp, 12-6 curveball with lots of depth and vertical plane, can generate swings and misses with it. Key to his development will be to add velocity, will continue to improve as he grows and gets stronger. Right-handed hitter with an even and in line stance, utilizes a big shift into contact. Tends to cast the hands and throw the barrel and hips at the ball, still developing quickness at present. Shows a flat bat path, looks towards the middle of the field, his timing was consistent and he produced mostly ground ball contact. Will continue to improve with further physical development. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
