Tyler Little is a 2023 RHP/2B, OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Adamstown, MD who attends Tuscarora HS. Tyler is an emerging young player with a maturing build and a keen understanding of his ability. He plays with a great attitude and noticeable energy and effort. In addition to Tyler's obvious growing baseball talent, he is an outstanding student. He ran an 8.30 60 yard dash. A primary RHP, Tyler works out of a full wind up and incorporates an above the belt leg kick, He is smooth and controlled mechanically and works down the slope well. He has some crossfire in his delivery which adds to his deception. His well commanded 72-74 mph fastball is worked to both edges and he endeavors to keep that pitch in the lower half of the zone. His 64 mph 11-to-5 breaking ball shows consistent tight spin and is a nice complementary piece to his fastball. Tyler also took a turn in the outfield. His measured approach is sound and works well for him. He positions consistently and plays through the fielding action routinely. His 76 mph throws are firm and accurate. At the plate, Tyler has a middle of the field swing path and a flatter plane that allows him to stay on the pitch a little longer. His handsy, slashing style produces solid line drives. Power potential is present. Tyler has a sound approach that will only improve with physical maturity and experience gained at the HS level. Like his positive body language and his effort!
