Cameron Lapinto is a 2022 C/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Clarion, PA who attends Clarion Area. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.93 seconds. Hits from flexed and open stance, early stride, gets online but cuts off stride, barred low hands into load, heaviness to barrel, good strength through the middle, solid barrel skills with beginnings of power, projects. Primary catcher, quick out of crouch into long stride that takes him off balance, quick transfer, clocked up to 69 mph on throws. Also took reps at 1st base, hands work well out front, accuracy on throws, turns well, clocked up to 74 mph. Good student.
