2025 PG Miami Prospect Showcase
Michael Maiquez is a 2027 OF/RHP/IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Springs. Physical medium build with good present strength. 6.99 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, takes good routes to the ball and works directly into his throws, carries his momentum well, over the top arm slot with nice carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, sets up in an open bent knee stance with a high back elbow load, short to the ball with some hand quickness, tends to cut off his swing out front, has more raw power to tap into. Took a turn on the mound, works from a short side step delivery with a deep arm takeaway in back, over the top arm slot. Fastball topped out at 86 mph, hides the ball well and the velocity plays up when in the zone. Tends to slow his arm on his off speed with developing feel. Good student. Named to the PG Miami Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
