Peyton Wofford is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Middleburg, FL who attends Clay. Long and lanky young build with lots of time and room to fill in and get stronger. Side step delivery with a full arm circle in back, multi-part mechanics, high 3/4's arm slot out front, good lower half direction to the plate, repeated his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, more velocity there as he gains physical maturity. Varied his break and velocity on the breaking ball and has confidence in his off speed pitches. 7.82 runner in the sixty, long and loose arm action in the outfield. Right handed hitter, late deep hand load impacts his timing, rotational upper body swing, slashing contact to all fields. Good student.
