Ramsel Jerez is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends 10Th Grade Academy - 76. Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.24 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball a bit as he does a good job of keeping the play in front of him. Gathers it cleanly and then works quickly into transfers. Accurate throws to the bag as he threw it 74 mph during drills. Footwork showing and he was confident in games as he projects well here going forward. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a belt high lift. Online delivery as he released from a high three-quarter slot. FIlled up the strike zone as he ran the fastball up to 72 mph. Also mixed in a slurvy breaking ball. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced with an open front side. Knee to knee load before striding out. Bat wrap over the helmet before working into a longer swing path. Feel for the barrel showing as he stays linear while trying to pull the baseball. Outstanding Student.
