Darian Gaskins is a 2026 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-9 161 lb. frame from Boonsboro, MD who attends Boonsboro. Medium, lean frame with plenty of room and time to physically mature. Recorded a 7.73 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Displayed proper footwork, a clean funnel and some agility around the bag. Produced accurate throws up to 69 mph across the diamond during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from an upright, even stance with a lower, flat hand start and hover trigger. Contact oriented stroke with flatter swing path, some compact hand speed and occasional line drive contact from gap-to-gap. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.
