Rocco Lamotte is a 2030 C/1B/UT with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from San Francisco, CA who attends Archbishop Riordan. Solid frame with nice present muscular development and life to his actions with more to come. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Primary position catcher, starting with the right knee down and getting into transition nicely in line to target. Clean exchange out front into whippy low 3/4 arm angle. Ball comes out good, with feeds up to 76 mph and a pop time best 2.01 seconds. Good spot for him here. Secondary position outfielder, showing sound fundamentals working through the ball with good momentum. Gets to throw in timely manner and rips throws back to the infield up to 84 mph with one hop accuracy. LHH starting with a medium stance a touch open with a small leg lift to get him moving. Clean handset creating separation and uses strong hands to whip the barrel through impact. Pull oriented approach with current gap power, staying on the barrel with loud contact. Obvious feel for the barrel and an offensive catcher skillset to follow in the near future. Named to 2026 13u Perfect Game Select Festival.
