Nicholas Voelpel is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Vista, CA who attends Rancho Buena Vista. Recorded a 7.44 second 60 yard dash time. Medium build and lanky frame. Primary outfielder, fields it off to the side with a good approach, short and choppy steps. Stays under control, short arm action with accurate throws, needs to stay on top of the ball at release, throws were high and arching at times. Secondary second baseman, heavy feet and developing foot work, at his best when on the move. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and toe tap trigger. Stays to the middle of the field, shows the ability to impact it some when on barrel. Consistent solid contact, some rhythm to the swing, timed it well. Good student.
