Silvio Ionadi is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends Plum HS. Silvio is a solidly built, sturdy framed athlete who shows noticeable strength in and with his game. In addition to his commendable ability on the diamond, he is also an exemplary achiever in the classroom. He ran an impressive 7.07 60 yard dash. A primary middle infielder, Silvio shows a balanced approach to fielding. His quick feet allow him to position with routine effort. His hands are clean and his glovework is sound. His transition to throw is consistent and his 79 mph throws are routinely accurate and show sound plane and carry. At the plate, Silvio uses his advanced strength to get his barrel to and through contact with force. His bat speed is noticeable and allows for his contact to be routinely sound. His strength and approach should continue to allow him to advance his offensive game as he moves through his last two years at the prep level. Silvio shows promise and with continued improvement in his already fundamentally sound game, he could project to the next level.
