Robert Burk III is a 2023 RHP/3B, MIF, IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Aledo, TX who attends Aledo. Medium, compact frame with a high waist and room to add strength. Recorded a 7.86 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Incorporates a coiled leg lift into balance, medium stride length down the slope and creates some deception with cross-body landing. Fastball worked in the low-80s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 83 mph from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Showcased developing command of the strike zone, flashed some natural arm-side life to his fastball when in-sync and mixed in a varying shaped breaking ball with both horizontal and vertical tilt to it. Will need to refine overall spin profile to breaking ball, as it tends to vary between both a curveball and a slider at times. Will continue to improve with additional velocity and proper adjustments mechanically. Excellent Student.
