Trace Furniss is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Olympia. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Fast paced high energy delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, has a whippy and loose arm, will occasionally recoil at release, best when he's getting out front cleanly, has deception to his delivery. Primary fastball pitcher, was up to 84 mph with good sink down in the zone, was consistently down in the zone with some leverage. Fastball velocity has been steadily improving over the last two years and will continue to as he gets stronger. Showed good shape and some potential on his rare curveballs. Key to his development will be repeating his mechanics and locating his pitches. Named to the Florida Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
