Ryan Gomez is a 2022 BHP/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Salem, NH who attends Salem High School. Gomez was certainly one of the more unique players at the NE Top Prospect Games, showcasing the ability to throw fuel from both sides. As a LHP, Gomez worked out of a full circular arm action from a 3/4 slot touching 82 mph with a nasty 11-5 slurve that he could throw on command. From the right side, he gassed the gun up to 87 mph with quicker simpler mechanics and a splitter that fell off a table at 70 mph. Gomez also worked from 1B, attacking the ball aggressively with good bounce in the footwork. Offensively, he consistently used the pull side of the field and flashed line drive contact from an open stance. Ran a 7.14 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.
