Kortes Howard is a 2023 3B/1B/SS with a 5-11 167 lb. frame from Mesquite, TX who attends Horn. Medium frame with a lean athletic build. Ran a 7.02 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, good athleticism and feel on the dirt, actions play well to both sides and glove really works, good hands and works through the ball well, up to 78 on easy throws across the diamond. Switch-hitter, grades out a good bit better on the right side at present; very athletic process with a clean path and excellent present bat speed, moves in well on time and shows comfort letting the barrel out, strong impact off the barrel when squared and can project on the components. Very good student.
