Andrew Ray is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Cumberland, RI who attends Cumberland. Medium high waisted athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength, especially in his lower half. 7.01 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves well to the ball in the outfield, fields cleanly out front, gets some carry on his throws and makes accurate throws, sound overall outfield actions. Also worked out in the infield with good glove actions, athleticism works better in the outfield at present. Right handed hitter, hits from a closed stance with a hanging front leg load, foot is late getting down at times, rotational swing, front side will get early at times, pull side contact with the ability to turn the barrel over. Good student.
