Kody Adkins is a 2025 MIF/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Lexington Park, MD who attends Chopticon. Average current overall build with a lot of time for growth but athletic actions and some twitch to him. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.30 seconds. Primary position IF, letting the ball get to him before working fingers through the ball showing nice glove actions. Moves well on his feet laterally and has appropriate actions for the spot. Emerging arm strength with present accuracy generating throws up to 77 mph across the diamond. Handle tough slow roller quite well too. RHH starting wide and in his legs with high hands and flat barrel over the shoulder. Big shift to impact and gets on plane with quick hands and solid overall bat speed. Middle of the field approach but will get out front a bit early to roll over. When he lets the ball travel and uses the oppo gap the ball has great flight. Young offensive type infielder that is an interesting follow in the present. Outstanding student as well.
