Colson May is a 2026 OF/RHP/UT with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Clermont, FL who attends Lake Minneola. Medium frame with good athleticism and symmetrical build and dense strength especially for his age. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.20 seconds. Primary position outfielder, good first step and moves very well on his feet getting quickly into his route. Works glove out front and works into a clean midline transfer to throw. High effort on throws and the arm strength is real as he cracked off throws up to 88 mph with plenty of carry. Reps on the infield as well with similar quick footwork and solid glove presentation, can do it here as well. Secondary RHP, starting from an offset windup and using a medium leg lift to the belt to load over the rubber. Standard inline arm path and works through a 3/4 arm angle to release. Gets a touch rotational but did stay on the plate with his two-pitch mix. Fast ball up to 81 mph with some ride and occasional cut backed up by a vertical curve ball with fairly tight spin as it sat in the upper-60s. Right handed hitter, working from a wider base and athletic in the box. Turns really well in the core, looseness in his hands and shows real bat speed. Middle to pull approach as he stays connected and shows the natural ability to create loft. Solid fundamentals and looks like he will hit all the way up the line. Elite performer in the classroom as well.
