Keagan Hixson is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-3 137 lb. frame from Cambridge, IL who attends Cambridge Comm. Recorded a 7.49 in the 60-yard dash. The tall and long limbed primary left-handed pitcher moves from a full windup into a short side-step with a quick, short below the belt leg lift and an over-the-top arm slot as he falls to the plate. Hixson has a fastball with arm side run topping 75 mph as he is developing the release point for a breaking ball with 2-7 action. Also taking fly balls in the outfield showing some skilled footwork and accurately throwing the ball to the bases at 74 mph. The left-handed hitter steps into the box with an even, crouched stance, a simple leg lift trigger rotation with lower half, and has an inside hand path to contact working the ball middle to pull side approach.
