drian Vento is a 2022 SS/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Menifee, CA who attends Paloma Valley. Lean athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.23 seconds. Primary infielder who clocked up to 77 mph on throws across. Displayed good footwork with a smooth transition and accurate throws. Showed the ability to make the plays but had a tendency to get the glove down late. Moved well laterally, showing quick twitch actions. Right handed hitter, hits from an even base with slight hand movement. Has a middle away approach with a short compact swing and good bat speed. Showed decent pop with the ability to hit the ball well to right field. Good student.
