Shane Langan is a 2025 RHP/SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Little Silver, NJ who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Works from a medium compact frame with some room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery, starts with the hands at the chin and drops them to the belt, lifts the leg up to the mid-section, releases from a three-quarters slot, fastball is fairly straight and plays up due to spin metrics, topped it out at 81 mph, landed the 12-6 curveball early on for strikes, good feel for spinning the breaker, projects for more velocity as he continues to add strength. Secondary shortstop, works through the baseball well, showed some lateral range, has a feel for the position, transfer is a bit lengthy, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 75 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow slightly open base with a high back elbow and high hand set-up, utilizes a toe tap trigger and flat hand path, lets the ball get deep in the zone, gets a bit rotational at times, produced consistent contact to the opposite field. Ran a 7.74 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
