Chris Leduc is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Glastonbury, CT who attends Glastonbury. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, gains short ground with lower half coming out of crouch, strides open prior to release, tight and compact arm action on throws down to second base, occasionally gets uphill at release, arm strength will continue to develop. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a narrow and slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Upper body dominant swing, hits the ball out front and with a long finish through contact. Bat speed projects with added strength, does well getting closed moving into contact, works on a linear plane and shows ability to work to all fields.
