LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2025 PG 14U National Showcase
James Van Der Post is a 2029 OF/RHP with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Round Hill, VA. Athletic young build with good size and plenty of strength potential. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder with aggressive approach into the fielding process, fields slightly off to the side and maintains momentum into release. Produced fairly accurate throws with carry up to 83 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, open base with a high hand set, high back elbow and inward toe-tap trigger. Slightly elongated path with slight leverage when on-time, has present bat speed and some developing feel for the barrel. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
