Jake Mestas is a 2024 2B/SS with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Diamond Bar, CA who attends Diamond Bar. Compact and physical build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.77 seconds. Primary middle infielder that showed soft and smooth hands when working through balls, was especially impressive to the backhand side of his body. His throws across the diamond maxed out at 74 MPH. On the offensive side of the ball, he works out of a slightly open and narrow stance with a low back elbow setup. Showed a short and compact swing to go along with some impressive bat speed. Swing path is suited for spraying line drives to all fields of the diamond. Great student.
